Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and executing medium to large-scale imbedded software development projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and (where applicable) government contract and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing software teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Takes guidance and work direction from Manager.
  • Create and maintain project documentation for project planning, requirements analysis, risk management, issues management, status reporting, project communication, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external resource to accomplish program objectives, including change management.
  • Plans and directs medium to large projects to completion.
  • Manages project scope, cost, timeline, integrated schedules, EVM (cost, schedule and materials) and risk assessment.
  • Accepts and delegates authority, established priorities for work delegated to others.
  • Monitor product quality and process control and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate communication between internal engineering teams and team members as needed.
  • Prepare and present program status/issues to internal and customers.
  • Identify and coordinate all project scope change requests for approval.
  • Participate in project proposal writing efforts as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949, FAR/DFARS) and support internal/external audits.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 4 plus years related work experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP Certification
  • Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in government or defense contracting; familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
  • Proficient with Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VBA) and reporting experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/SCRUM, ECNs, and phase gate processes.
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or CMMI frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint.
  • Experience managing software development projects related to imbedded controller and/or Display development

Pay Range:

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
