An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a significant Queensland Government transformation initiative involving machinery of government changes, service transition activities, stakeholder alignment and organisational transformation.
Working within a high-performing project delivery team, you will lead projects that support the movement, integration and realignment of technology, services, information and people across government entities. This role requires a strong understanding of governance, stakeholder engagement, transition planning and the complexities associated with large-scale government change programs.

This role requires a strong understanding of governance, stakeholder engagement, transition planning and the complexities associated with large-scale government change programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate projects associated with machinery of government changes and organisational transformation initiatives.
- Develop and execute transition and implementation plans to support the movement of services, systems and business functions.
- Manage project governance, reporting, budgets, risks and dependencies.
- Engage with senior executives, business leaders, technical teams and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and business units.
- Support the delivery of programs that improve government service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Drive project outcomes within complex and highly regulated government environments.
Ideally you will possess:
- Experience supporting machinery of government changes, government restructures, integration programs or large organisational change initiatives.
- Demonstrated success delivering ICT-enabled business transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience working with executive leadership teams.
- Experience managing project budgets, governance forums, risks and reporting requirements.
- The ability to navigate complexity, competing priorities and organisational dependencies.
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
