Project Manager, Solar

Project Manager Indonesia

This position will form part of Cleantech Solars Projects Team in Indonesia and will report to the Head of Operations in the country. The primary role is to deliver projects activities from pre-construction to operation stage and manage stakeholders in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Planning and carrying out routine site visits, meeting clients and contractors
• Working with other local and regional groups HSSE, Finance, Legal, Business Development, Procurement, Engineering and O&M
• Reviewing technical documents and project requirements
• Arranging resource planning, scheduling and verifying project costings
• Working with procurement/logistics for material and equipment purchase and delivery
• Running regular project meetings and driving execution to meet schedules
• Updating weekly project status for internal and external stakeholders
• Verifying project progress payment claims and following up on payment clearances
• Understanding the project phases and executing them, for e.g. contractors purchase orders, project insurance, joint meter reading, interconnections/shutdown and PV system
• Liaising with local authorities and clients to meet country regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Engineering degree/Graduate with adequate mechanical/electrical qualifications/accreditation
• Candidate should be able to travel and should own a car
• 3+ years of work experience as a Project Engineer or Manager in renewable energy, power sector utilities, consulting firms etc.
• Advanced skills in MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel are an advantage
• Project management related courses and certifications such as PMP
• Goal oriented, independent and a start to finish attitude
• Able to work independently at site but work in unison with team
• Understand the macro picture of projects along with being detail-oriented
• Deliver results within a project's dynamic challenges and deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills and emotional stability

Location

• Job location for the above position is either Java island, Indonesia and may require travel to various Cleantech Solar sites and locations across Southeast Asia and India
