Protocol Software Engineer Consensus

You will build core components of the Sei blockchain, including consensus and state management. You will identify and drive product optimizations, collaborate with the frontend team to refine REST APIs, and take ownership of your work and team outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Write code for core blockchain components, including consensus and state management
• Identify and drive product optimizations and improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
• Proven results building or scaling Layer 1 blockchain performance
• Experience planning and leading large projects with long-term impact on a system or team
• Strong technical judgment and task-prioritization skills
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems
• Experience creating and applying processes and tooling to increase engineering efficiency
