Protocol Software Engineer - Storage

You will build core blockchain components including execution, consensus, and state management. You will own end-to-end EVM performance, identify and deliver product optimizations, and solve complex infrastructure problems. You will lead large, long-term engineering projects and improve engineering processes and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Write code for core blockchain components, including execution, consensus, and state management.
• Analyze and own end-to-end performance of EVM implementations.
• Identify and drive product optimizations and improvements.
• Take ownership of your work and team deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• 2+ years of EVM-specific experience building and scaling Layer 1 blockchain performance.
• Deep end-to-end understanding of the EVM from execution to storage.
• Proven technical leadership experience planning and leading large projects with long-term impact.
• Strong technical judgment and task prioritization skills.
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems.
• Experience creating and applying processes and tooling to improve engineering efficiency.
