QA Engineer, Senior
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead manual and automated testing for our web applications. This role requires strong analytical and programming capabilities, with the ability to independently resolve complex problems and contribute to high product quality standards.
- Develop deep product knowledge through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Work with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify quality risks
- Design and implement test strategies with QA team members
- Create and maintain test cases and automation scripts
- Execute tests and report defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Maintain QA artefacts in source control systems
- Develop automated test scripts using Gherkin (Cucumber) and TypeScript
- Strong experience in software testing, including automation and QA methodologies
- Experience in test planning, design, execution, and defect management
- Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based applications (AWS preferred)
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Playwright)
- Experience programming in TypeScript / Node.js (VS Code environment)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, XML, XPath, JSON, and CSS selectors
- Experience using Jira and Azure DevOps
- 7+ years of experience in QA
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing
- Experience testing APIs (REST / SOAP)
- Experience with BDD (Cucumber), Playwright, and TypeScript
