QA/QC Engineer

• Ensure fabrication processes comply with relevant codes, specifications, and project requirement • Prepare QC Procedures, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and maintain QAQC documentations • Prepare Visual Inspection Reports, Weld History Sheets, and other QC documents for piping fabrication. • Perform or supervise incoming material inspection, Fit-up and dimensional inspections, welding inspection, and pressure testing • Plan and schedule the NDT activities, verify NDT results, and ensure that defects are evaluated / repaired as per applicable codes • Develop and qualify WPS/PQR in accordance with ASME Sec IX, AGES Specifications & AWS D1.1 • Ensure inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) are regularly calibrated and traceable to national standards • Coordinate with Authorized Inspector (AI) and Client Inspector during hold and witness points for inspections • Identify and report non-conformances during fabrication or inspection & follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Support readiness for ASME and ISO Audits

Qualification required: • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a QA/QC role in ASME pressure vessels, piping and structural fabrication • Proficient in Microsoft Office • CSWIP 3.1 certificate is required • Strong knowledge in ASME, API and AWS codes • UAE Driving license(added advantage) • BGAS Grade Level II (added advantage) • Audit experience in ASME/ISO Audits (added advantage)
