QA/QC Engineer
Description
We are looking to hire a talented QA/QC engineer - large-scale building projects, for one of our clients, based in Qatar, Ras Laffan.
ATTENTION! Our client will conduct interviews in Dubai, UAE. The candidate is required to have experience in UAE and must be willing to relocate to Qatar after the job is confirmed!
General requirements:
- Have proven experience in large-scale building construction projects, including residential, accommodation, mixed-use, institutional, or similar developments.
- Demonstrate successful delivery of projects of comparable scale and complexity.
- Have previous experience in Qatar; GCC experience may be considered as an alternative.
- Hold relevant academic qualifications in engineering or related disciplines.
- Possess valid MMUP/UPDA registration (preferred for candidates currently in Qatar and mandatory where applicable).
- Be capable of communicating fluently in English (written and verbal).
- Demonstrate strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Be familiar with QatarEnergy, major clients, consultants, and local authority requirements (preferred).
Requirements
- Implement quality assurance and quality control requirements and support inspection and testing activities.
- Degree in engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of QA/QC experience.
- Experience in building construction projects.
- Familiarity with ITPs, method statements, inspections, material approvals, and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- MMUP/UPDA certification preferred for candidates currently in Qatar.
