QA/QC Manager
Job summary
Ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. Delegating and assigning tasks to QA/QC engineers/supervisors and working closely with engineering, procurement, construction in an EPC environment. Occasionally and at some instances may require officiating corporate QA/QC tasks.
Duties & responsibilities
- Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations and QMS requirements.
- Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
- Managing the development and implementation of the QMS for engineering, procurement, construction, bidding/business development, project planning and controls, document control, information technology (IT), human resource, senior and top management for all operational and day to day activities.
- Overseeing the IMS function of QA/QC professionals across multiple EPC projects.
- Ensure implementation of corporate QA policies, quality objectives, audit programs.
- Compliance frameworks aligned with international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Lead quality reviews for technical and commercial bids, ensuring full compliance with client specifications, statutory requirements, and project-specific QHSE deliverables.
- Participate in tender evaluations and risk reviews, identifying QA/QC scope, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee project quality planning, including QA deliverables, client approvals, engineering document reviews, and final dossier compilation.
- Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to embed QA/QC protocols in the sourcing and vendor qualification process.
- Manage audit programs (certification/re-certification), Aramco Project Quality Index (PQI) performance, and non-conformance trends across business units.
- Prepare and present quality performance dashboards and strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Manage/participate in high-level client audits and board review.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of solid experience in a senior QA/QC role within an EPC organization. Experience on Saudi Aramco projects is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor of engineering (any discipline) and certification from reputed audit firms to perform QHSE audits.
