Quality Assurance Analyst - Automation and Manual

Our client is an Australian technology company, delivering cutting-edge technology around the world. Due to a busy period, they require a Quality Assurance Analyst with good all-rounder experience including Automation scripting (TestComplete + VB Script) to join their team.

The QA Analyst is responsible for the quality of the client's future and existing technology products. This position involves testing web-based applications and back-end microservices and APIs, while working with other testing team-members to share knowledge and experience to help enhance QA competency. This is role requires automation and manual testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a collaborative, active and positive member of theSoftware Developmentteam who operates in alignment with the clients Values
• Requirements analysis, designing detailed test cases, and detailing testing procedures, from requirement specifications
• Ability to perform both manual and automation testing within sprints
• Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals
• Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer/business requirements are met
• Attends design review and user meetings as required
• Document test cases, test plans, test results and defects as needed
• Performs the executions of the test plan, continually analysing testing efforts for completeness
• Performs system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production release through manual and automated techniques
• Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts
• Analyses failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as required
• Participate in Agile estimations, planning, daily ceremonies and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team and personal performance

To apply for this role, you will need the following:

• A minimum of 2-3 years automation testing experience and coding, and ideally experience with TestComplete and VB Script
• Good skills in testing across manual, API, data, etc. and any exposure to edge technology/IoT is highly regarded
• Ability to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to end testing and acceptance testing
• Experience in automation testing of the following Tech stack -Java, AWS, Postgres DB, Azure DevOps is a bonus
• Well-developed verbal, listening, comprehension and written communication skills
• You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident to be selected for this role
