Quality Assurance Engineer
You develop QA policies and procedures, execute full lifecycle testing, design and maintain test plans and automation, document defects in Jira, investigate customer problems, monitor remediation efforts and quality metrics, identify root causes, and provide technical guidance on quality practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full lifecycle integration, regression, and stress testing
- Set up QA policies and procedures according to release cycles
- Design, document, execute, and maintain test plans, scenarios, use cases, scripts, and procedures
- Document software defects using Jira
- Report defects and issues to Engineering and Product Management
- Investigate field and customer problems
- Develop and maintain test automation systems and scripts
- Provide input on functional requirements and potential problems
- Monitor bug remediation and coordinate resolutions
- Monitor quality metrics and develop improvements
- Provide technical guidance on quality needs
Requirements
- At least 3 years as a QA Engineer, SDET, QA Lead, or similar
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Experience with version control and issue tracking
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and development cycles
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science, or equivalent relevant experience
