Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer reporting to the Senior Director, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software integrations across Nasdaq's product ecosystem.

You'll thrive in this position if you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about building robust automated testing frameworks in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test strategies and test cases across integrated systems and platforms.

• Drive integration and end-to-end testing across multiple products, collaborating with developers, product owners, and business analysts throughout the software lifecycle.

• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, reliable releases.

• Identify, analyze, and track defects through to resolution, while supporting test data creation and management.

• Champion quality from the start by participating in requirement analysis and design discussions, and continuously improving QA processes and ways of working.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and integration testing.

• Hands-on experience with modern QA practices, including CI/CD and shift-left testing approaches.

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, or similar).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams in agile, cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with integration testing across distributed systems or microservices.

• Background in financial services, trading, clearing, or post-trade systems.

• Familiarity with applying AI or GenAI tools in a QA or testing context (e.g., test case generation, exploratory testing support).

This position will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office.
