Quality Assurance Inspector

- Inspect raw material, work in process, and finished product per established procedures and work instructions.
- Verify material and product meet defined internal and customer requirements.
- Check incoming certifications for compliance to drawing/industry standards. File certificates in appropriate folders.
- Document inspection data for material and product. Clearly describe inspection results and communicate nonconforming conditions.
- Maintain inspection records and filing system.
- Perform inspections within the specified time frame in order to support customer demand and company sales goals.
- Assist with processing and disposition of return goods.
- Perform and document calibration of inspection tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, etc.) as required.
- Document nonconformances (internal and external in origin) and issue corrective action requests to appropriate parties.
- Effectively interface with production personnel and personnel from other support departments.
- Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work place. Maintain equipment properly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
