What You’ll Do
As a Quality Manager, you’ll provide leadership, guidance, and direction for all quality assurance activities at the Terre Haute ELS facility. You’ll help ensure customer expectations are met while driving operational excellence, process improvement, and compliance with global quality standards in an automotive-focused manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will:
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
· Associate’s degree (2-year minimum) and a minimum of 5 years prior experience in a quality position in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
· Competence with AIAG Core Tools, IATF and VDA.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
· Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions.
· Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
· Familiarity with chemicals, work instructions, and safety procedures.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously
· Proven managerial/supervisory skills of providing leadership of value-added and highly motivated teams
· Able to communicate in an accurate and concise manner; good verbal and written skills
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
· 10 years’ experience in a strong automotive quality role
· Korean or Japanese language proficiency
Critical technical, professional, and personal capabilities:
· Ability to understand and communicate in conversational English, including following verbal and written direction.
· Competency in PDF and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to use Minitab or similar statistical software for data analyses and reporting.
