R&D Backend Engineer (HDD Manufacturing)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involve in backend process development activities, hardware modification, and improvement.
- Undertake new process development projects for future technological requirements.
- Undertake improvement projects to resolve technical challenges during new product and manufacturing stages.
- Ensure smooth transfer of process settings from R&D team to manufacturing team.
- Work with Reliability team for new evaluations to establish Spin Stand HDD correlation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science (Chemistry/Physics), or Materials Science and Engineering.
- Experience in the manufacturing with relevant work experiences.
- Chemistry knowledge to support lubricant development activities.
- Materials science and nanotribology knowledge.
- Process improvement skills; proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced data analysis and statistical process control.
- Cleanroom environment.
