Regional EHS Manager
Job Summary
Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Regional EHS Manager to cover the Arizona Region, Covers from Tucson to Metro Phoenix,. This person will present, document, and maintain all safety standards, processes and incidents for their respective area. They will also coordinate safety training, distribute monthly safety topics, and conduct field or store training with staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate incident reporting process, including investigation and post-accident drug testing (as needed)
- Understand regulatory compliance experience such as OSHA, DOT, EPA, and the Department of Agriculture
- Review and analyze incident trending data – develop and provide training or other methods to avoid future incidents.
- Conduct site inspections and field audits. Coordinate any / all workplace posting requirements
- Provide safety training including but not limited to: tools and equipment, tractor and trucks, safe lifting, and other topics as assigned.
- Implement and provide ongoing support for safety training.
- Manage and enforce safety standards by developing a solid succession plan.
- Implement & audit new policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
