Regional Head of Technical Sales Support

Job role and Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical expertise to the Technical Sales Support (TSS) team within Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

• Work closely with Sales and International Project teams to support technical discussions, product presentations, proposal preparation and solution, product selection, competitor conversions, retrofits, critical troubleshooting activities, etc.

• Develop and conduct technical and application training to strengthen the APAC TSS members.

• Provide technical training and product presentations to customers, as and when required.

• Prepare, maintain and update technical documents for applications handled in various industries.

• Work with headquarters stakeholders on TSS initiatives and business requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• Minimum15 years of progressive experience in mechanical seals application engineering in an MNC.
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical sealing technology, rotating equipment and key industry segments.
• Experience in conducting technical presentations and training for both internal teams and external customers.
• Team player and skilled communicator with good collaborative working skills especially to facilitate effective interaction within a multinational and multi-cultural support environment.
• Must be hands-on, proactive and with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment across multiple geographic locations.
• Willingness to travel within APAC region as required.
