About the Role

Are you a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting users across a dynamic global business? We are looking for a Regional IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne team at Hallam and provide technical support to users across the ANZ region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote support for end-user devices and applications across the APAC region

  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets in line with global IT standards and service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees

  • Assist with identity and access management processes and collaboration platforms

  • Support cloud, infrastructure, backup, patching, and system update activities

  • Work closely with vendors, regional teams, and global IT colleagues to deliver effective solutions

  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards

  • Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role

  • Experience working with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, endpoint devices, Azure, and Active Directory environments

  • Experience supporting remote desktop and virtual environments

  • Exposure to cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
