About the Role
Are you a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting users across a dynamic global business? We are looking for a Regional IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne team at Hallam and provide technical support to users across the ANZ region.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote support for end-user devices and applications across the APAC region
Manage and resolve IT support tickets in line with global IT standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
Assist with identity and access management processes and collaboration platforms
Support cloud, infrastructure, backup, patching, and system update activities
Work closely with vendors, regional teams, and global IT colleagues to deliver effective solutions
Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications and experience
Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role
Experience working with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, endpoint devices, Azure, and Active Directory environments
Experience supporting remote desktop and virtual environments
Exposure to cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
