Relationship manager - Secured Direct

Job Summary**

As a Relationship Manager - Secured Direct, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value clients seeking secured lending solutions. You will act as a primary point of contact, understanding client financial needs, and facilitating the direct origination and execution of secured loan products.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of existing and prospective high-net-worth and corporate clients.
* Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the secured direct lending market.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on client applications, ensuring adherence to credit policies and risk parameters.
* Structure and negotiate complex secured lending transactions, including real estate-backed loans, asset-backed financing, and other collateralized facilities.
* Prepare and present compelling loan proposals to credit committees and clients.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including credit, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
* Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within secured direct lending.
* Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the secured direct lending business.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relationship management, corporate banking, or secured lending, with a proven track record of originating and managing direct secured loan portfolios.
* Deep understanding of secured lending products, credit analysis, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
* Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client segments.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* A strong network within the high-net-worth and corporate client segments is a significant advantage.
