What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Remote Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers in the Sterling Heights area. You’ll work independently with a fully equipped service truck which you will take home and is stocked with tooling provided by us, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service. This hands-on, mobile role involves:
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Performing inspections and preventive maintenance
- Maintaining accurate service records and reports
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Working independently and managing your schedule efficiently
- Maintain truck maintenance, cleanliness, and organization
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience repairing heavy-duty vehicles or equipment
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and welding (acetylene and arc)
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues on-site
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience repairing heavy-duty vehicles or equipment
- Valid Chauffeur’s license and medical card are required. CDL is preferred.
- Background in agricultural equipment is a plus.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check.
