Reporting/BI Analyst
Lentech is seeking a high-Performance, multi-disciplinary team to lead a technical implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform-based case management system (CMS). This mission-critical project and CMS supports legal services to children in support of the U.S. Government. U.S. Citizenship is required along with the ability to positively pass a public trust background investigation.
The primary implementation timeline occurs across the first 180 days of the project and moves into steady state operations for the remainder of the first year. A five-year follow-on contract is expected based on positive performance in the first year. The implementation follows an aggressive timeline divided into four key phases: Mobilization, Core Operations, Fully Functional Delivery, and Steady-state Operations.
This effort demands a collaborative team capable of maintaining operational continuity throughout the transition and into operations. You will be working with a primary legal team providing the CMS to the lawyers working each individual case. Candidates must be prepared to handle high-velocity delivery, strict data privilege boundaries, and the technical rigor required to support vulnerable populations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Reporting Catalog Delivery: Design and implement the full report catalog, including operational, compliance, financial, security, and transition-in dashboards.
- Metric Implementation: Build and test all calculated metrics defined in the Metrics Spec. This includes implementing the calculable metrics and documenting the provisional handling for all metrics that remain dependent on unresolved Government inputs.
- Governed Semantic Model: Develop a single governed semantic model that ensures consistent definitions across live views, dashboards, and exported formats (Word, Excel, PDF, or structured data).
- Role-based Access: Implement role-based dashboards to ensure the appropriate visibility for Organization leads, LSPs (using organizational isolation), finance, and compliance audiences.
- Acceptance Evidence: Provide detailed acceptance evidence for every metric, identifying the specific formula, numerator, denominator, exclusions, grouping dimensions, and atomic fields used.
- Template Mapping: Treat Government-facing templates as presentation mappings over governed data so that underlying model redesigns are not required if Government templates change late in the project.
- Reporting Artifacts: Complete report catalog, dashboard designs, and finalized metric calculation specifications.
- Validation Evidence: Results from testing demonstrate that all metrics and all reports pass validation against known-answer synthetic data sets.
- Operational Documentation: Report definitions and user guides to enable the Organization to independently manage and update reporting after the final transition.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI and DAX; experience designing governed semantic models within the Power Platform (Dataverse) environment.
- Data Literacy: Strong understanding of data modeling, ERDs, and the ability to map atomic data elements to high-level contractual metrics.
- Analytical Rigor: Experience in evidence-based acceptance for metrics, ensuring that every calculation is auditable and traces back to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with federal reporting cadences and the security constraints associated with handling sensitive program data and attorney work product.
- Professional Certifications: One or both of the following, MS Power Platform Functional Consultant associate, MS Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
