RESIDENTIAL SHIFT MANAGER

The Shift Manager works directly with the Direct Support Professionals to facilitate the smooth and productive operation of all shifts, the completion of all documentation tasks, outings, and assigned in-house activities and all personal hygiene activities of the residents. This position also ensures that a consistent, appropriate, proactive level of engagement exists between the DSPs and the residents and that an appropriate level of resident supervision is maintained throughout each shift. The Shift Manager helps to maintain a nurturing, safe, healthy living environment free from abuse and neglect; and provides for the necessary areas of staff support.
