Job Summary
The Neighborhood Nurse Manager is responsible for supporting high-quality person-centered resident care in the Sage Glen neighborhood through leadership, infection prevention oversight, medical record auditing, staff education, and clinical accountability. This role manages Sage Glen’s infection prevention and control activities, monitors documentation accuracy and completion, supervises neighborhood operations, and collaborates with leadership to promote resident safety, quality care, and adherence to Canterbury Court’s mission and value statement.
The Neighborhood Nurse Manager must have a sincere desire to serve older adults in a quality continuing care setting, promoting the dignity of every resident through a high standard of compassionate, caring, and professional service. Services must be provided in accordance with the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, along with adherence to Georgia Department of Community Health regulations. This position is responsible for fostering a culture that enables residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity. This climate shall provide residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life.
