Job Title: OHSE Manager

Company: International Mining Heavy Equipment Provider

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Main responsibility:

To lead and manage Health and Safety activities to ensure Occupational Health and Safety activities are conducted in compliance with legislation, corporate policies, and customer & community expectations.

To provide the framework for improving operational Health and Safety performance to achieve our value of Zero Harm to Everyone, Everywhere.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or occupational health and safety
• More than 5 years of safety experience including 3 years in a managerial position, mining experience will be preferred.
• Good understanding of mechanic and maintenance service
• Communication and conflict management skills in dealing with management and corporate personnel.
• Proficient in problem-solving and strong analytical skills required.
• Must exhibit strong skills in influencing, persuading, and motivating individuals or groups to achieve desired outcomes in a professional and normally ethical way.
• Experience in effective delegation, supervision, motivation, and support of staff
• Effective time and workload management
• Leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mongolian
