Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales & Application Engineer / Executive to drive business growth through customer development, technical sales, and application support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, promoting precision surface finishing products and solutions, providing technical assistance, and expanding our market presence across Singapore and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial products and equipment sectors.
• Promote precision surface finishing products, equipment, and solutions to customers.
• Provide technical sales and application support to ensure effective product utilisation and customer satisfaction.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Identify potential customers and develop new markets across Singapore and Asia.
• Work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities for new products and solutions based on customer and market requirements.
• Manage the sales process independently, from customer prospecting and quotation through to follow-up and after-sales support.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions where required.
• Travel within Singapore and Asia to meet customers and attend industry events.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular updates on sales activities and progress towards targets.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and respond promptly to customer enquiries.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in industrial products, machinery, equipment, or engineering-related industries.
• Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good command of English. Knowledge of Chinese/Mandarin is an advantage for communication with regional customers and business partners.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own vehicle.
• Willing to travel within Singapore and Asia as required.
• Candidates with technical sales or application engineering experience will have an added advantage.
