Sales Compensation Analyst
Some of what you will do:
The Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for assisting with the operational, reporting and data analysis aspects as well as coordinating elements of the sales compensation system. The individual will field questions from the sales staff concerning their commission/bonus payments. This role will also work closely with finance to ensure accurate quota roll up to budget and commission forecasting. This individual will also be responsible for the design, communication and administration of any sales contests and/or SPIFFs. They will also drive process improvements through streamlining and automation as well as maximizing excel functionality wherever possible. The position reports to the Sales Compensation Manager and is located in Richmond Hill.
Specifically, You Will:
Coordinate all aspects of the sales compensation plan including reporting, analysis, and use of PC-based associated tools.
Publish leaderboards based on performance to plan and any other contests.
General sales reporting and data management as necessary using internal data warehouse applications.
Analyzes Sales Comp Plan Effectiveness. Suggests revisions to the compensation plan or procedures based on a strong knowledge of business goals.
Create and administer sales incentives and contests.
Some of what you need:
University Degree or College Diploma, accounting/finance background an asset.
Analytical mind set with the ability to review any potential issues.
Business and financial acumen.
Above average excel skills and overall computer proficiency.
Ability to be innovative, pro-active and solutions oriented.
3-5 years in a Sales compensation analyst role, including the design, administration, data analysis and compensation administration.
Physical demands/working conditions:
Office environment – Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, subject to the hybrid policy.
