About the Role
- Estimated first-year earning potential: $75,000, based on individual sales performance.
- Commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential and a guaranteed minimum in accordance with applicable wage requirements.
- Training pay of $18.00 per hour for the first 6 weeks.
- Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
- Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and provide consultative guidance on available products and services.
- Build a sales pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, proactive prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
- Maintain customer relationships, manage follow-up activity, and track leads and sales through the company CRM.

Your Day to Day
- Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
- Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
- Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
- Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and members of the local community.
- Explain products, services, pricing, and available options in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
- Maintain accurate lead, customer, appointment, and sales activity within the company CRM.
- Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
- Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and offsite customer appointments.
- Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
