Sales Traineeship
This is how you learn the sales profession
From day one, you will be involved in the commercial process. You will ensure that valuable appointments are made with potential customers. How you do that? That is largely up to you.
This means, among other things, that you:
- Make appointments with potential customers via phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or conversations at events.
- Ask the right questions and listen carefully to what is really going on.
- Contribute ideas on how to make appointments smarter and better.
You will learn how organizations make decisions, when something is an opportunity and when it is not. This will help you quickly become better and more confident in your conversations.
This is how you grow step by step as a sales manager
We split the Sales Traineeship into two phases. This allows you to develop yourself step by step towards the role of sales manager.
Phase 1 – Getting to know & doing
- Your focus is on making appointments with prospects.
- You get to know AFAS, our software, and our customers.
- You work on lead generation and building your network.
- You follow training courses to develop your commercial skills, such as conversation management and questioning techniques.
Phase 2 – Deepening & applying
- You shadow experienced sales colleagues.
- You develop soft skills, such as negotiation and conversation techniques.
- You learn how to give a strong demo.
- You apply everything directly in real conversations.
After the traineeship, you are ready for the next step: closing your first deal as a sales manager. And yes, we celebrate that moment.
