Salesforce Developer
Join a high-profile Wellington government project in its exciting final stretch — a short, sharp 3–4 month contract for a Salesforce Developer ready to land, build, and help deliver a mission-critical MVP.
Our client, a New Zealand Government agency based in Wellington, is deep into a major Salesforce build — core architecture is in place, the larger share of the work is done, and the platform is built around a solid mix of standard and custom objects.
What's left is the exciting part: landing the final stretch of MVP delivery in a truncated timeline. We're looking for a sharp, self-sufficient Salesforce Developer who can hit the ground running, get across an existing build fast, and help carry it over the line.
What You'll Be Doing
- Quickly landing and surveying an existing, well-established Salesforce build
- Following Jira requirements to deliver the remaining MVP scope
- Building both declaratively and programmatically to meet delivery needs
- Collaborating closely with the existing team to close out final development tasks
- Troubleshooting and refining existing customisations against MVP requirements
- Supporting testing and deployment activities as the MVP nears completion
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, equally comfortable working declaratively and programmatically
- Solid experience working with custom objects and more complex data models
- Ability to quickly ramp up on an existing build with minimal onboarding time
- Experience delivering against structured requirements in a Jira/agile environment
- Full NZ work rights
What's on Offer
- A short 3–4 month contract with an immediate start
- The chance to join right at the exciting final stretch and see your work go live
- A meaningful, high-impact project within the public sector
- On-site collaboration with an established build team in Wellington
How to Apply
If you're a Salesforce Developer who thrives on landing fast, following structured requirements, and getting things across the line, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now or reach out directly to discuss the role.
