Salesforce Product Owner [LifeScience]
We are seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to support business and technology initiatives across Salesforce and related commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms within the Life Sciences domain. This role requires hands-on Salesforce experience, product ownership capabilities, client partnership skills and a consulting mindset.
Responsibilities
- Act as Product Owner for Salesforce and adjacent COTS initiatives
- Partner with client stakeholders to define priorities, roadmap, backlog items and delivery expectations
- Translate business needs into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Own and maintain the product backlog
- Support discovery, planning, demos, releases and adoption activities
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, BAs and business teams
- Apply practical Salesforce knowledge across configuration, customization, integrations, automation, reporting and UX
- Evaluate alignment between Salesforce and COTS platforms
- Identify risks, dependencies and business impacts
- Serve as a trusted client advisor
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Proficiency in Salesforce Platform, Flows and Reports
- Skills in Dashboards, Custom Objects and Configuration
- Capability to translate business goals into delivery priorities
- Experience with enterprise platforms and COTS solutions
- Strong Agile and stakeholder management skills
- Consulting mindset and strong communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in Life Sciences GTM, commercial operations, CRM transformation and field force effectiveness
- Exposure to Veeva, Trueblue and IQVIA
- Salesforce certifications
- Understanding of integrations, analytics, consent and engagement processes
