SAP ABAP HANA Application Developer

Role Overview

As an SAP ABAP HANA – Application Developer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing SAP solutions that support modern S/4HANA landscapes. This role is focused on delivering reliable, scalable application development across core SAP technologies while working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical outcomes and maintain high development standards throughout the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP applications for SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions.
• Build HANA-optimized solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, SQLScript, and code pushdown techniques.
• Develop and enhance OData services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Create and maintain RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and web services.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP and HANA applications.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
• Develop Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts where required.
• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Prepare technical specifications and maintain development documentation.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
• Experience participating in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience developing OData services for SAP Fiori applications and working with the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Eligibility to work in Egypt.
