SAP Change, Release & Compliance Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented SAP Change, Release & Compliance Analyst to support the governance, validation, and controlled deployment of changes across our global Animal Health SAP landscape.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys challenging assumptions, identifying risks before they become issues, and ensuring that documentation and system changes meet the highest quality and compliance standards. The successful candidate combines strong critical thinking skills with an exceptional eye for detail and acts as a trusted advisor to project teams, business stakeholders, Quality Assurance, and technology teams throughout the change lifecycle.
The global SAP platform supports critical business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial Operations, making the quality of change execution and documentation essential to business continuity and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Review and challenge requirements, testing evidence, change records, and SDLC deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
Drive documentation standardization and promote consistent ways of working across projects and support teams
Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, risks, testing activities, incidents, deviations, and releases
Support change, release, and incident management processes in a regulated SAP environment
Identify process gaps, quality risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for simplification and improvement
Guide teams on validation, testing, documentation, and compliance expectations using a risk-based approach
Partner with Quality Assurance and delivery teams to ensure inspection readiness and audit compliance
Contribute to the development of templates, standards, governance processes, and service improvements
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of experience within IT service management, compliance, quality, validation, change management, release management, or regulated IT operations
Experience working in a regulated environment (GxP, SOX, or similar)
Strong experience with document governance, traceability, quality reviews, and process standardization
Experience managing or supporting incidents, deviations, defects, CAPAs, or operational quality processes
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP and enterprise-scale ERP environments
Experience with Change & Release Management processes and tools (SAP ChaRM, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Xray, or similar)
Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV), Computer Software Assurance (CSA), and risk-based compliance approaches
Experience developing standardized operating models, templates, governance frameworks, or shared services
Familiarity with audit support, inspection readiness, and compliance monitoring
