Role Title: SAP System Administrator – SuccessFactors (cloud) and Business Technology Platform
Role Purpose: We require an experienced senior SAP Basis and platform engineer to provide technical support, administration, and operational ownership across the SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role is responsible for maintaining platform stability, availability, security, performance, and compliance across HR technology services.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be a hands-on SAP technical specialist with deep SAP Basis experience, Employee Central Payroll platform knowledge, and practical administration experience across SuccessFactors, SAP BTP, IAS, IPS, Cloud Connector, SAP Router, certificates, OAuth, transport management, system refreshes, and platform monitoring. They must be comfortable working in a regulated enterprise environment and able to engage with business teams, internal technology teams, SAP support, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide SAP Basis administration and platform support for SAP SuccessFactors and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) environments.
Ensure platform availability, performance, security, and operational stability across production and non-production landscapes.
Administer SuccessFactors platform services, transport management, environment governance, and release deployments.
Support ECP technical operations including upgrades, patching, monitoring, job scheduling, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Lead and support system copies, environment refreshes, Spinifex cloning, post-refresh validation, and technical cutover activities.
Manage SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth, certificates, trust relationships, and privileged access controls.
Administer SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including subaccounts, destinations, connectivity, entitlements, role collections, and service configurations.
Support SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, RFC connectivity, APIs, and integration troubleshooting.
Perform platform health checks, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and operational risk management.
Collaborate with functional, integration, and security teams to ensure reliable and compliant SAP platform operations.
Support change management, release activities, and continuous platform improvement initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance standards.
Mandatory Experience
4+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, including SAP NetWeaver ABAP systems, transport management, system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, background job administration, system copy, client copy, and environment refresh activities.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors environments, with strong expertise in Employee Central (EC), platform administration, environment management, release coordination, and tenant governance.
Proven experience supporting SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) technical operations, including payroll infrastructure management, upgrades, support package implementation, patching, monitoring, background processing, and issue resolution.
Strong practical experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), including Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth, SSL certificates, trust relationships, identity lifecycle management, and security administration.
Hands-on experience administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including subaccounts, entitlements, destinations, role collections, connectivity services, and platform governance.
Experience with SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, RFC connectivity, API authentication, secure communication protocols, and integration troubleshooting across hybrid SAP landscapes.
Demonstrated expertise in system refreshes, environment cloning, Spinifex cloning, post-refresh validation, cutover planning, and production support activities.
Strong understanding of SAP platform security, privileged access management, audit controls, compliance requirements, and operational risk management.
Experience working within large-scale, complex, and regulated enterprise environments with a strong focus on documentation, governance, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis, incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvement activities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, functional, integration, security, and business teams.
Highly Desirable: SAP SuccessFactors Platform Administration certification, SAP Basis certification, CyberArk or other privileged access management experience, exposure to large-scale HR transformation programmes, and experience supporting geographically distributed SAP landscapes.
