SBA Business Development Officer I

First Merchants Bank is seeking a SBA Business Development Officer I to join our team! This position is a development program for recent college graduates to develop communication, financial analysis and pipeline generation skills in preparation for promotion to a full Business Development role upon completion. As part of this program, participants will assist current senior BDO’s with file management, work with customers to obtain documentation, provide assistance with financial analysis, complete assignments and assume responsibilities of various tasks; including the delivery of a superior customer experience, Participants will complete the NAGGL SBA Lender training course, and will complete mentoring and coaching tasks, while learning all bank of policies and procedures.
