Security Consultant

About the Role

Accenture is seeking an experienced Security Consultant to support the design, deployment, and governance of secure cloud and infrastructure environments. This role combines security strategy, architecture, operational risk management, and stakeholder engagement to help organizations protect critical assets, data, and operations while driving technology transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and implementation of distributed cloud solutions, including highly secure and isolated environments.

• Design, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and risk management frameworks.

• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, compliance reviews, and remediation planning.

• Collaborate with technology, infrastructure, and compliance teams to strengthen data protection and information security controls.

• Support the deployment, operation, and governance of containerized platforms and enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Lead incident response activities, investigations, crisis management efforts, and post-incident reviews.

• Manage security technologies, third-party vendors, service providers, and related contractual obligations.

• Develop and deliver technical and security awareness training programs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting distributed cloud environments, including highly secure or isolated deployments.

• Strong hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms and enterprise infrastructure technologies.

• Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, switches, firewalls, and security architecture principles.

• Experience with enterprise storage technologies, including object, file, and block storage solutions.

• Proven experience in security operations, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience conducting incident investigations, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional-level cloud architecture certification.

• Experience delivering technical training and enablement programs.

• Knowledge of security monitoring, threat detection, and operational security tools.

• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or cloud modernization initiatives.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple business units.
