Security Coordinator
Job purpose

As a Security Coordinator in the Group Security team, you will provide support for operational security matters to ensure compliance with security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP), and the Security Management System (SEMS).
You will collate, record, analyse, and assist in investigating, alerting, and reporting all irregularities that may result in the non-conformity of the organization's Security Policy.
In this role you will:
- Access information on inadmissible passengers and decide necessary action, keeping relevant departments informed, which includes coordination of flights, accommodation, deportation reports, liaising with the relevant authorities, etc.
- Perform travel documents check on assigned flights and conduct behavioural analysis of all passengers to prevent acts of illegal immigration and unlawful interference.
- Liaise with the relevant authorities (e.g., immigration, embassies, and the police) throughout the network to prevent the carriage of inadmissible passengers.
- Support in the training of staff of Emirates and Ground Handling Agents to increase awareness of detecting and intercepting illegal immigration.
- Maintain documents, manuals, and records for auditing purposes, ensuring they are kept up to date.
- Contribute in the review of standard operating procedures, contracts, and other relevant documents that have an impact on operations.
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Have completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in security or a related field.
- Be able to communicate effectively and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be willing to work on a shift roster, including day and night shifts, in line with operational requirements.
