About the role
MSS Security is seeking Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Positing Vetting Clearance, to join our team in Sydney. We have positions available at a high-profile data centre, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance.
Employees holding a Positive Vetting Clearance will receive a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.
Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.
Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
Requirements:
Must be an Australian Citizen.
Hold a current Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV Clearance (or willing to obtain).
Valid NSW Security Licence.
Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.
Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.
Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
