Security Officer (Construction Site / Dormitory)

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Security Officer to support site safety and compliance with MOM regulations.

Job Summary

You will maintain site security by controlling access, conducting patrols, and ensuring safety of personnel and property at contractor and HDB site offices during and after working hours.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor entry/exit of workers, visitors, and vehicles
• Check worker passes and maintain proper records (in/out movement)
• Conduct routine patrols at site/dormitory
• Enforce site rules, safety, and MOM requirements
• Report incidents, safety breaches, or unauthorised activities
• Support emergency response when required
• Inspect and ensure proper functioning of safety equipment including fire extinguishers, fire alarm panels, and lift panels
• Monitor and secure contractor and HDB site offices during and after normal working hours
• Report and respond promptly to any security breaches or incidents to maintain site safety

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid Security Licence (PLRD) preferred
• Able to work rotating shifts (day/night)
• Physically fit and able to conduct patrols
• Basic communication and reporting skills
• Experience in construction site or dormitory environment preferred

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience or specialization in Security, Armed Forces, Protective Services, or equivalent
