Senior Assistant Manager, Data and Analytics
The Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager, Data and Analytics to support NTU’s strategic decision-making through rigorous data analysis, statistical modelling and evidence-based insights. The role contributes to institutional planning, university rankings and reputation, faculty and student outcomes, research analytics, and continuous improvement of data processes across the University.
Job Responsibilities:
Generate insights from both external and internal data to facilitate evidence-based decision making at all levels of the University.
Build databases, develop data analytics and implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency.
Refine existing processes and define new processes in data collection to support decision-making at all levels of the University.
Work in teams of stakeholders across various units.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Social Sciences, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of applied statistics, empirical research methods and quantitative analysis.
Experience handling, cleaning, validating and analysing complex datasets.
Good coding skills; familiarity with Python and R will be advantageous.
Ability to develop analytical models and communicate complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Resourceful, resilient and collaborative, with good communication skills; data visualisation skills will be an added advantage.
