Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Build the platform behind the future of smart parking.
At Frogparking, we're transforming the way people move through cities, hospitals, hotels and commercial spaces with intelligent parking technology. Our proprietary Nexity by Towne platform combines cloud software, mobile applications, connected hardware and real-time data to deliver world-class parking experiences for some of North America's largest organisations.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to help build and scale the cloud platform that powers our technology. This is a hands-on role where you'll modernise our Azure environment, automate deployments, and establish best-practice DevOps processes that enable our engineering teams to deliver software quickly, securely and reliably.
If you're passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure as Code and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you'll take ownership of our Azure platform, CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across the Nexity platform and our broader technology environment.
Working closely with Engineering, Security and Data teams, you'll design scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and embed security and compliance into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle.
This is an opportunity to build modern DevOps capability from the ground up while supporting exciting initiatives including Microsoft E3 migration, Microsoft Sentinel implementation and our growing cloud data platform.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our cloud platform and supporting services.
Manage Azure environments including subscriptions, networking, identity, governance and cost optimisation.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
Own release management across development, staging and production environments.
Implement deployment strategies including automated rollbacks, blue/green deployments and canary releases where appropriate.
Work alongside our Security team to embed security controls, vulnerability scanning, secrets management and compliance requirements into deployment pipelines.
Support Azure infrastructure for Microsoft E3, Microsoft Sentinel and our expanding cloud security initiatives.
Automate monitoring, alerting and operational processes to improve platform reliability.
Partner with our Data team to support Snowflake infrastructure and cloud data services.
Produce clear documentation, operational runbooks and infrastructure standards to support long-term scalability.
Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.
What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating repetitive processes and building cloud platforms that engineering teams love to use.
You'll ideally bring:
6+ years' experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
At least 3 years working extensively with Microsoft Azure.
Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, security and cloud architecture.
Experience embedding security, compliance and governance into cloud environments.
Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash and/or Python.
The ability to work independently while building scalable, well-documented solutions.
Bonus Points If You Have
Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104 or AZ-500.
Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms.
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender or other SIEM technologies.
Exposure to PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA or other regulated environments.
Experience supporting IoT or connected hardware platforms.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
