Senior Back-End Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, code, build, and maintain the major components and services responsible for the whole product offering as part of the AI Receptionist team
• Collaborate with the team to architect and design robust, resilient, and maintainable solutions in an Agile environment
• Build flexible APIs that adhere to internal API Guidelines with microservices that can be exposed for public consumption
• Develop new features involving AI
• Implement new features using Python (70%) and GoLang (30%) on the backend
• Ensure the quality of the software delivered
• Deploy and operate services in production
• Guarantee scalability and availability of the team's services
• Work closely with product owners and user experience designers to deliver features while meeting team deadlines
• Assist with firefighting, including identifying the root cause and performing rollbacks or immediate bug fixes and deployments to production

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in back-end development
• Proficiency in Python and Go
• Expertise in APIs and integration
• Background in Microservice Architecture Style
• Skills in Java and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Kafka and PostgreSQL
• Passion for well-crafted software
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React
• Knowledge of CI/CD
