Senior Backend Engineer (Go)
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Go)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Golang (willingness to work with Ruby)
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Redis
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and HTTP
- Strong understanding of system architecture, high-load applications, and concurrency
- Experience building and maintaining backend microservices
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to design scalable technical solutions and work with complex business domains
- Experience with performance optimization and database query tuning
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
- Background in high-load, distributed systems
- Strong experience building concurrent applications
- Experience with performance tuning of relational databases
- Experience with external API/integration-heavy systems
