Business Analyst – Application Migration Team
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic application migration team. In this critical role, you will act as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that the migration process aligns with organizational objectives and delivers value. Working within the SAFe Agile framework, you will analyze current business processes, define future states, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful migration of applications to modern hosting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of organizational structures, processes, and systems. Assess current business models and their integration with technology to identify areas for improvement during application migration.
- Design and document optimized business processes that align with the new hosting environment. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system designs meet business requirements.
- Create process maps, workflows, and documentation to illustrate current and future states. Define desired future states of applications post-migration, including process improvements and system enhancements.
- Assess proposed technical solutions against business requirements and conduct cost-benefit analyses. Develop and execute UAT plans and test cases based on business requirements, documenting results and adjustments.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on application migration or similar initiatives.
- Certifications: (Specify certifications required or preferred, e.g., SAFe Agilist, CBAP, or Agile certifications).
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in process mapping, workflow creation, and business process optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly within a SAFe Agile framework.
- Proficiency in developing detailed documentation, specifications, and test plans.
- Ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and assess the impact of technical solutions on business operations.

This is an on‑site position based in St. Louis, MO. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to St. Louis.
