Senior Business Analyst (JD#11293)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives within a highly regulated environment. This role involves driving end-to-end business analysis activities across solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support, requiring strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and regulatory awareness.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field;
- Must have at least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst;
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation;
- Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, and implementation activities;
- Good experience in designing customer-servicing platforms or customer-facing digital channels;
- Experience working in regulated environments such as hospitality, financial services, government, or similar industries;
- Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC methodologies;
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, IT, compliance, and vendors.
Desired Skill-set
- BA or Agile certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSM, or CSPO are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Meet business users/stakeholders to understand their needs, problems and objectives. Conduct interviews, workshops and discussions;
- Analyse business requirements, identify gaps, conflicts, dependencies and opportunities for improvement;
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements, User Stories, Use Cases, process flows and acceptance criteria;
- Study existing As-Is processes, identify inefficiencies and design To-Be processes;
- Clarify requirements, answer developers' questions and ensure the solution being built matches business expectations;
- Prepare test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate defect resolution and obtain business sign-off;
- Work closely with business users, management, developers, project managers, vendors and other stakeholders to align expectations.
