Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
About the Role:
Talent Insights is partnering with a major retail company on its loyalty programme, looking to uplift data foundations and build out broader data capability across the analytics function.
We're looking to speak with experienced BI analysts and developers who can take outputs from data engineering and turn them into clear, well-built dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on how metrics are visualised and understood by the business.

We're looking to speak with experienced BI analysts and developers who can take outputs from data engineering and turn them into clear, well-built dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on how metrics are visualised and understood by the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build out data capability and uplift data foundations for the loyalty programme
- Take consumer outputs from data engineering and build them into dashboards and reports
- Build metrics and visualise them in a way that makes sense to the business
- Engineer good data sets and manipulate data well using SQL
- Build charts and understand what they're showing, ensuring the best information is displayed
- Strong data visualisation skills, with a track record of turning complex data into clear, digestible charts and dashboards
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Looker, Power BI or Tableau
- Able to speak to successful past implementations
- Experience implementing database fields within a large organisation
- Strong SQL experience (technical test component involved)
- Comfortable engineering data sets and manipulating data with SQL
- Strong understanding of dashboard design and chart best practice, with an eye for what makes information easy to consume.
