Senior C++ Developer

We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join our team on a long-term outstaff project for a global client in the manufacturing industry.
The project focuses on a commercial Windows desktop application deployed on Windows Server and edge devices used by large manufacturing enterprises. The application is responsible for configuring edge devices, managing configuration data, and providing extensive logging and diagnostics capabilities.
As a Senior C++ Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending a large legacy C++ codebase while contributing to the development of new features and improvements.

Responsibilities
Maintain, refactor, and extend a legacy C++ Windows desktop application.
Design and implement new features based on business requirements.
Develop functionality for edge device configuration and management.
Enhance application logging, diagnostics, and overall system reliability.
Investigate and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams in an international environment.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.

Requirements
5+ years of professional experience with C++.
Strong experience developing Windows desktop applications.
Solid experience maintaining and evolving legacy C++ applications.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software architecture.
Experience working with Windows Server environments.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Upper-intermediate English for communication within an international team.

Nice to Have
Experience with edge computing or industrial/manufacturing software.
Knowledge of multithreading and performance optimization.
Experience working in an outstaff or distributed development environment.
