Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

In the Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) position, you will own IaC with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, support Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems, and keep CI/CD running smoothly—apply today.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud infrastructure and implement it using best practices
• Automate and manage deployment pipelines for cloud-based applications
• Observe system performance and troubleshoot problems to sustain reliability
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support the application lifecycle
• Maintain container orchestration platforms and optimize them for day-to-day operations
• Apply security measures and ensure compliance across cloud environments
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to drive consistent deployments
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to team members
• Create documentation for procedures, configurations, and processes to support knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proficiency with Docker and container-based application packaging
• Experience administering container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes, Helm, or Apache Mesos
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills for automation, tooling, and operational tasks
• Solid background in Linux system administration
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, or GitLab CI for automated workflows
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and MySQL relational databases
• Knowledge of Windows system administration concepts and practices
• Expertise with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
• Experience with configuration management tools including Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken
