Senior Corporate WSH Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement corporate WSH policies, standards, programmes, and KPIs.
- Provide WSH leadership and strategic advice to management, projects, and sites.
- Ensure consistent WSH compliance across all business units and sites.
- Conduct WSH audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, and monitor corrective actions.
- Review risk assessments, safe work procedures, emergency plans, and WSH documentation.
- Lead investigations of serious accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Monitor WSH performance and report key trends and improvements to management.
- Coordinate WSH training, campaigns, and safety awareness programmes.
- Manage contractor and subcontractor WSH compliance.
- Monitor regulatory and legislative changes and ensure timely compliance.
- Liaise with regulators, clients, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead and support WSH committees, site WSH teams, and safety initiatives.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous WSH improvement.
- Support WSH certifications, accreditations, and client requirements.
- Perform other WSH duties as assigned by senior management
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant WSH experience, including at least 6 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in construction, electrical engineering, power transmission, substations or power automation.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, ISO 45001 and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
