Senior Data DevOps
We are seeking a Senior Data DevOps professional to implement and support key aspects of our data platform, including infrastructure changes, monitoring, end-to-end tracking, automation and self-healing, anomaly detection, event correlation and analysis, performance analysis, and access permissions management.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support infrastructure changes across the data platform
- Establish monitoring and end-to-end tracking mechanisms
- Develop automation and self-healing solutions to streamline platform operations
- Perform anomaly detection, event correlation, and analysis
- Conduct performance analysis on data workloads
- Manage access permissions across environments
- Collaborate with Architecture teams to ensure platform design aligns with support model standards
- Work with the SRE team to support the platform
- Optimize data platform activities, support processes, and automate administrative activities, infrastructure, and application deployments
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders to align on platform requirements and priorities
- Troubleshoot and prevent issues related to data workloads performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with hands-on work using advanced Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines across multiple subscriptions and environments
- Knowledge of Azure data solutions such as Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and ADF
- Familiarity with Synapse Analytics for data workloads performance improvements, monitoring, and issues troubleshooting
- Skills in communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Expertise in solutioning and collaborating with Architecture teams on platform design standards
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
