We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data Engineer (#22643) with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support enterprise data platform migration initiatives.
· Develop, optimize, and maintain DBT models within Snowflake environments.
· Design and implement scalable data solutions that improve platform performance and reliability.
· Identify and address data architecture gaps, technical debt, and data quality issues.
· Build and enhance data transformation processes following modern data engineering best practices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and modernization efforts.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
· Establish and promote data quality, governance, and operational excellence standards.
· Support analytics and reporting platforms by ensuring trusted, high-quality datasets.
· Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement of the data ecosystem.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related data platform roles.
· Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
· Proven experience supporting data platform migration and modernization projects.
· Strong SQL skills and experience developing complex data transformations.
· Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data quality frameworks.
· Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Experience working with enterprise-scale data environments.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Tableau, including extract optimization and incremental refresh strategies.
· Experience with Power BI, including dataset optimization and refresh management.
· Knowledge of data governance, observability, and monitoring frameworks.
· Experience improving platform scalability, performance, and reliability.
· Exposure to cloud-based analytics and modern data platform ecosystems.
